Born and raised in Tasmania, Sarah has a passion for helping businesses succeed, whether it’s implementing creative marketing strategies designed for success or educating clients in all area of their marketing activity. She is a fearlessly proud Tasmanian and an advocate for the unique experiences, people and culture that our State has to offer the rest of the world.

Sarah has recently joined The Van Diemen Project as a Senior Advisor with an advanced level of knowledge and over five years of experience in, marketing strategy and implementation.

With a background in Agency and Advisory, Sarah has rolled out and managed many successful business and marketing strategies for Tasmanian entities across a wide range of industries. She has unique skill sets in marketing, across strategy, SEO, SEM, paid and organic social media. Sarah helps businesses understand and speak to their customers by creating clever content, developing strategies from ideation through to delivery, and providing creative direction for customer engagement through collateral and digital assets is what she loves most.

A confident communicator, Sarah has previously been a business and marketing coach for the Tasmanian Government’s Digital Ready Program, delivering workshops and tailored mentoring sessions to hundreds of small businesses across the state. You will also find Sarah chatting away in meetings and mentoring sessions with clients, understanding their business needs, helping them achieve their goals and coming up with creative ideas to stand out amongst competitors.

Sarah is currently studying a Masters in Digital Communications with Monash University, which focuses on real-world marketing application and the political, social and cultural impact of communications on a global scale. Her biggest career achievements to date are being nominated for the Tasmanian Young Achiever Awards in the Leadership Category for her role in Tasmanian business development and being voted a finalist in the Social Media Hero Category in the Champions of Tourism Awards.

With an entrepreneurial mindset, Sarah has been critical in the evolution and success of startup company, RAMP Water Sports, a boat charter company, as well as running her own digital marketing consulting business. When she isn’t helping businesses, you will find Sarah hitting the mountain bike trails, on the water surfing, wakeboarding or skiing, at a music gig and spending time with friends, family and her two huskies.
